Vantage utility U = VA · (1 − DC) · (floor + (1−floor)·CC), over standoff cells. High = a concealed, uncovered position with line-of-sight to the asset. Weights are illustrative.
The discrimination engine scores each identity-blind track: observer-posture (line-of-sight × standoff × dwell) weighted by anomaly, vantage utility and coverage-gap, corroborated by a CUSUM sequential detector. An alert fires only when evidence is sustained. Reconnaissance loiters at the vantage points; benign traffic passes through.
